Hotel communications and public relations manager Mazeta Hassan said the long-staying guests were treated to the ketupat weaving demonstration to show them how the Muslim community observes Ramadan as well as to gain a better understanding of the local culture. “We enjoyed weaving ketupat. It was a nice experience,” said Ben Grand, who was born in Penang in 1935.
